Celebrate Christmas at The Porch House
Christmas has been kept under this roof for the best part of a thousand years. The Porch House in Stow-on-the-Wold is England's oldest inn — parts of the building date to 947 AD, the blue plaque proves it, and the witches' marks carved beside the fireplace have been guarding the hearth for centuries. Step in from the cold this December and you'll find the season as it was always meant to be: log fires burning, ancient beams overhead, and a warm welcome for everyone — dogs very much included. Some places put on Christmas. The Porch House has simply never stopped.
